A new book by local author, Seth Kastle, is now available at all library branches. Kastle has recently written a children’s book to help military children and families cope with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Kastle was in the Army Reserves for 16 years, and in that time served in many places, including Qatar, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He decided to write this book as a way to help his children understand why he is the way he is, and in doing so is helping many other military families explain their situation to their children.
He is currently working on a second book, Why Is Mom So Mad?.
