Missoula Children’s Theater

Missoula Children’s Theatre is returning to Coffey County this summer. It is a week long program where local participants will prepare a public show. This year’s program is Alice in Wonderland and it will be July 7th-12. The Coffey County Library will serve as a place for pick-up/drop-off point for those using public transportation. We will also host two of the included workshops in the Burlington Branch Activity Room.

Tuesday, July 8th:  3-4 p.m.
IMPROV:  Participation is emphasized as the students learn to act without a script.  This workshop is geared to all levels of students. For grades 1st-12th grade

Thursday, July 10th:  3-4 p.m.
Let’s Make Up:  Without the support of visual image, the most talented of actors can portray only a narrow spectrum of characters.  Make-up is the foundation and the most basic visual image for all performers.  This workshop teaches students of all ages by demonstrating corrective, old age and fantasy make-up for the theatre.  For grades 1st-12th grade
